Gallery Forty-Two is recognized as one of the industry's premier event venue spaces in downtown Indianapolis. The building itself is recognized by Historic Preservation of Indianapolis as the oldest surviving commercial structure in the city of Indianapolis dating back to its original construction in the 1830's. The Gallery Forty-Two building as it stands today is a masterpiece of renovation completed in 2014 by philanthropic natives of Indiana, Jim and Linda Hunter.  With no stone left unturned, every inch of the building was identified, restored and repaired, and brought back to life redecorated and designed for one single purpose; For people to see and experience both history and modern-day vision.

Purchased in 2021 by local businessman and two-time Olympian, Bill Kessler, Gallery Forty-Two continues its tradition of honoring its past while offering forever memories to those that enter through its doors.
